Here in the dark and mysterious shrine where the white spring emerges at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, I feel the presence of a light and ethereal Lady. Some say it is the Goddess Brigit, who is indeed very present in Avalon. I feel this Goddess’s white energies, like Brigit’s swan, and the chalky waters here. It feels akin to the glow of mushrooms from a netherworld. Soft and gentle, like a deer. There is a voice, like an Angel singing from high above. She is singing to me, it feels, to my heart. She invites me to bathe, to release the dross of a world that has forgotten and to feel the sudden chill of a fresh renewal, so as to attune to the highest notes of my Divine Being.
